Graff Guild is an architecture studio that brings genuine, fresh perspectives into existing spaces. We work closely with our clients to ensure that each project ultimately reflects the essence and values of its inhabitants. Our approach is thoughtful and dynamic, mixing both old and new elements to create executions that are radiant, unique, and highly personal.


Cristina Ioana Graff
AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Principal
Cristina is a licensed, LEED-accredited architect with over ten years of professional design experience across New York City, Chicago, Florida and New Jersey. She earned a Master of Architecture degree from UCLA and a B.A. in Art History from Rutgers University, where she was also granted a certificate in Historic Preservation.

Throughout her career, Cristina has completed numerous urban residential renovations and additions, commercial interior build-outs, and high-end interior design projects. She takes a clear-sighted, practical approach to each new project, communicating openly and effectively with clients and collaborators while cultivating an innovative mindset.

Cristina is a registered architect in New York and New Jersey. She lives in South Orange, NJ with her husband, two children, and a pair of French water dogs.

Mike Fogarty
AIA, NCARB
Architect
With his passion for problem-solving, design, and technology, Mike brings a focus on tech-driven solutions and innovation to Graff Guild.

Mike holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lafayette College. He’s a registered Architect in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.

A native of New Jersey’s Essex County, Mike cherishes going to the shore, playing volleyball, and spending time with his family. Outside of work, he’s also an adjunct university professor specializing in architectural design software.

Emily’s passion for interiors began a decade ago when she worked on the renovation of her own Maplewood home. Years later, that enthusiasm brought her to Graff Guild,where she continues to channel her creativity and curiosity in supporting project selections.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mountview Academy in London, UK. She has enjoyed working in the arts across Europe and the United States, and currently resides in Maplewood, New Jersey, with her husband and three children.

Felix Aarts
Construction Administrator
As Construction Administrator, Felix’s expertise involves managing commercial and residential build-outs locally, working closely with contractors to ensure that the projects are built as designed.
Felix’s keen eye for detail and aesthetics stem from his background as a multidisciplinary artist.
He holds an MFA in Visual Arts from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. He has shown his work internationally, and is currently represented by J. Nunez Gallery in Millburn, New Jersey.

Felix lives in South Orange, New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
